Our Verdict
The Women’s Airox 28ND keeps the same warm-weather focus as the larger Airox packs, with a ventilated back system that keeps air moving while still supporting the load. At 1097g, it is not a stripped-back day pack, but the weight brings useful features: adjustable back length, a supportive hipbelt, side compression straps and plenty of quick-access storage.
The 28-litre capacity is well suited to hot day hikes and lighter overnight kit lists, where comfort and airflow matter more than carrying a heavy load. The ND fit uses narrower dimensions and a shorter 16-19 inch back length, making it better suited to women or anyone with a smaller frame. The large front stash pocket is ideal for damp kit or a layer you keep taking on and off, while the chest-strap storage is handy for snacks, a phone or a soft flask. It is always nice to see a rain cover included.
