Our Verdict
The NEMO Satellite Reclining Camp Chair offers far more upper-body support than a typical compact chair, with a 100cm-high back and padded headrest. The reclining adjustment is built into the armrests, making it easy to move between a more upright position and a relaxed lean.
The mesh seat should remain comfortable in warmer weather, while the broad aluminium frame gives it a stable feel once assembled. I also like the carrying case, which doubles as a platform beneath the feet on sand or soft ground.
At 1,622g, this is aimed at car camping, festivals and basecamps rather than backpacking. The fixed headrest may not suit every height.
