A low-bulk insulated pullover that combines TXdown sheet construction with a close-fitting hood.

Our Verdict
At 313g (Medium), the Microlighter Pullover uses 50g/m² TXdown rather than conventional loose down. The recycled down and down fibres are bonded into a continuous sheet, so the insulation sits flatter against the body and is less prone to shifting inside the jacket.
That low-bulk construction makes it easy to layer, while the 20x30D Pertex Quantum shell adds wind resistance without adding much bulk. The close-fitting hood gives a little more protection around the head and neck, while the half-zip keeps the design simple and helps trim weight.
I also like the articulated sleeves for walking and scrambling, while two zipped hand pockets, an adjustable hem and an integrated storage pocket keep the overall layout practical.
