A clever 3.5g way to improve the stability of a canister-top stove without carrying a conventional stand.
UltimaPeak says:
MagFeet are ultralight magnetic feet designed to stabilise and protect your gas canister while cooking outdoors. They snap securely onto the canister, lifting it from the ground to reduce dirt contact. When nested inside a cooking pot, they raise the canister a few millimetres to prevent rust build-up and eliminate rattling during transport.
Three problems solved in one tiny, ultralight package.
Our Verdict
The three magnetic feet simply snap onto the base of a standard gas canister, widening its footprint and giving a little more confidence on uneven ground. They can stay attached when the canister is packed away, and when nested inside compatible cookware they also help reduce the familiar rattle of a gas canister against a titanium pot.
I’d be a little careful with the thin 3D-printed construction, particularly when removing the feet. They are extremely light, so I’d avoid putting unnecessary sideways pressure on them.
