Small, tough and more useful than its capacity suggests

The HydriamX comes in three different volume sizes, allowing you to fully customize your set up to your needs. All three sizes feature a tapered design that allows them to easily slide into the pocket of a running vest. The back includes markings for measuring out liquids while cooking or mixing your favorite camp cocktail.
Using the same 42mm thread as the 42mm Vecto, the 42mm Hydriam is compatible with filters like the Katadyn BeFree, allowing for filtering on the go during long runs or fastpacking trips.
Our Verdict
At 32g, the CNOC Outdoors HydriamX 350ml Flask is very light, but its small capacity limits its use as a primary water bottle.
For me, it makes more sense as a secondary flask for fastpacking, trail running or filtering on the move. The 42mm thread works with filters such as the Katadyn BeFree.
I also like that it can handle hot liquids. At 350ml, it is quite small for a hot drink, but if you enjoy cooking outdoors, it opens up other uses, such as carrying stock, sauce, or measured hot water for a meal.
The measurement markings are handy for cooking and mixing drinks, and once empty, it rolls down to almost nothing. The capacity is definitely niche, but the combination of filter compatibility, durability and hot-liquid use gives it more versatility than a standard soft flask.
