Our Verdict
The Patagonia Field Repair Kit is built around a simple idea: carrying the basics needed to keep damaged gear functional until a proper repair can be made. At just 10g, it takes up virtually no space yet includes enough tape, thread, and needles to deal with many common problems that can cut a trip short.
What I like most is the credit card-sized holder. It slips easily into a repair kit, wallet, or first-aid pouch, making it far more likely that you'll actually have it when needed.
For backpacking, travelling and everyday outdoor use, it's a practical insurance policy against minor gear failures.
