Our Verdict
I think the Daylite Carry-on Wheeled Duffel 40 works best as a wheeled travel bag first, with the removable backpack straps adding some useful flexibility for stairs, cobbles or short sections where pulling it is awkward.
The 40-litre main compartment is large and straightforward to pack, while the full-length side pocket and smaller top pocket keep travel essentials easy to reach. The two-wheel system feels better suited to rougher surfaces than smaller spinner wheels, and the reinforced 900D polyester base helps protect the areas most likely to take abuse.
The backpack straps are fairly simple, so I would see them as a short-distance option rather than something for prolonged carrying. I also like that the frame collapses for storage, which makes a bulky piece of wheeled luggage much easier to put away between trips.
