Our Verdict
The Cargo Hauler Box 65L sits somewhere between a soft duffel and a rigid storage crate. Its integrated frame and compression-moulded top and base keep it upright while packing, making equipment easier to see and retrieve than it would be from a conventional gear bag.
The wide opening works particularly well for bulky items such as boots, cooking equipment and climbing kit, while grab handles on every side make it easier to move around a vehicle or garage. Its rectangular shape also makes better use of boot space and allows several boxes to be stacked together.
At 2,057g, it is built for organisation rather than lightweight travel. The recycled 600-denier polyester has a water-resistant TPU coating, while the tougher moulded panels help protect the areas most likely to encounter damp ground and abrasion.
