More fuel options for your remote stove
Fire Maple says:
Anaconda Cassette Canister Adapter is inspired by the revolver's design, making it exceptionally convenient and easy to twist onto long gas canisters. Featuring a self-sealing interface for simple operation and clear usage instructions to enhance the user experience, this adapter is specifically designed for long gas canister interfaces and exclusively fits remote stoves.
Our Verdict
The Anaconda lets a remote-canister stove designed for threaded EN417 cartridges run on the long 220–227g butane canisters commonly used with cassette stoves. If, like me, you have a few of these lying around from older camping stoves, it is a simple way to put them back to use rather than buying another type of fuel.
I can also see it working well for base camps and longer trips where these cartridges are easier to find. A typical 227g cassette canister weighs around 320–330g when full.
The adapter twists securely onto the canister and uses a self-sealing valve, although it is specifically designed for remote-hose stoves rather than top-mounted burners. The canister must also lie horizontally with its locating notch facing upwards.
