Our Verdict
The Montane Alhena Long Sleeve T-Shirt uses APEX THERMO, a four-way stretch fabric with a brushed back that adds warmth while still wicking moisture during active use. At 207g (Medium), it has more substance than a lightweight summer baselayer, which makes it better suited to cooler conditions and layering through autumn and winter.
I like the Regular fit; combined with the stretchy fabric, it stays comfortable under a fleece or shell. The Merrow seams also keep the construction low-profile, which helps improve comfort when worn directly against the skin or beneath a rucksack.
