Our Verdict
The Rab Sonic LS Tee is a lightweight technical top designed for fast hiking and mountain running, with an airy 85gsm Dryflo Air fabric that prioritises breathability and quick drying. At 120g (Medium), the regular fit leaves enough room for airflow rather than feeling like a close-fitting base layer.
The design has been simplified, replacing the previous Motiv fabric, mesh zones and chest zip with a single lightweight fabric throughout. I like the raglan sleeves and low-profile seams, particularly for wearing under rucksack straps, while the odour-control treatment should help on longer trips.
