Our Verdict
I think the 1.5mm diameter strikes a good balance between keeping weight down and remaining easy enough to handle in poor weather. Each 3m guyline comes with its own nylon tensioner, so they are ready to add to a tent or tarp without needing to source compatible adjusters separately.
The reflective cord also makes the lines easier to spot around camp under a headtorch, which is particularly useful on longer storm guys extending away from the shelter.
The 3m length also gives plenty of flexibility for additional storm guys, replacements or extending an existing setup.
